Yes there was fire involved

So basically I have to say bonfires are the greatest thing invented especially on the beach. Last night was really cool we had worship round the bonfire and it was just a good time of fellowship between all of us christians around the hall and some in different ones. I have to say that here I am being fed more spiriually than I have ever been in my entire life because of the questions that have been brought up by diffreent people in the hall and other various things that are happening here. I gots to say Cali is amazing I am going to spend the weekend thinking and praying about two things whether or not to join the worship team or when I am going to go serve in asia or if I am going to apply for residency here and get it by staying here over the summer or going back and visiting the fam, I'll talk to you mom and dad. So this one time...

So pretty much I had probably the best retreat experience I have had this weekend. We went down to the LA area but about 10 miles or so north of the northern tip where all the rich retired people lived. So therefore it was some of the most beautiful region of Cali I have experiences in my life. We ate In N Out a lot and that is pretty much the best place ever, I won't lie. Keeping you updated things got really busy last week with mid terms and things and I think I did fine, I mean fine in the terms that I haven't failed one yet which is a good thing. Anyways spiritually I am very good right now the speaker touched a lot on the issues that I believed I as well as this group needed to hear.. The whole idea/ theme of the weekend was complete surrender and what that looks like in various relationships, and especially on campus. It was really cool to get to room and meet some of the upper classmen who are involved in the movement and finally at least have an opportunity to be contacted about being involved in the worship ministry here. We'll see where that goes but I really have no idea considering the fact that I am an architecture major and really won't have any free time once things get rolling next year and I finally get my own studio. I have been having good conversations with the guys in the hall that challenges me to look into why I believe certain things and them as well. And it is interesting to see the whole idea that no one really if you take the skeptical viewpoint on life can believe anything is certain. This one guy I have been talking to is going to read the bible all through and I am going to be there for any question he raises and to just talk. I know that if God is truth in anyway than that alone will minister to him, for the word of God is so powerful and speaks to the heart. Anyways I will get some pics from this weekend up later cause the blogger isn't working right now...gots to get back to homework later.

The PAC is amazing

So last night we had Campus crusade in the PAC( performing art center). It is B E A U T I F U L. Yup bible study is good we have about 20 guys from our dorm meeting every monday night. It is a true blessing to have so many christian brothers around me, keeping me accountable and challenging me to go to the next level. CC( campus crusade ) is going for there fall retreat down to the LA/ Thousand Oaks area hyatt!!! I am so excited, it is going to be amazing.So I will be gone not this weekend but the next. BUt I will be unavailable Sat. I am going to take an extended prayer day for this campus and go off by myself pray and read God's word, so please try and call me on Sunday if you need to get ahold of me cause my cellphone will be off, and I will be unavailable. The spirit of God as he did in Genisis is brooding over this campus and you can feel his presence and you can feel the war raging. Last night we were all under spiritual attack but the message got out, last night that we are strong for God here on Campus. That's all I can say you can feel it here and really can't describe it, but God is with us.
